Ardross is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Melville. It was once an area of land acquired by the Scotsman, Sir Alexander Percival Matheson in 1896. In Matheson’s subdivision of the adjoining suburb of Applecross, he created “Ardross Street” naming it after either the town of Ardrossan on the Scottish west coast or Ardross Castle, located about 40 km north of Inverness. The suburb derives its name from this street.
There is a great cost effective opportunity to convert a strata plan to a survey-strata plan in Ardross if the following conditions precedent exist:
• The original strata was registered with Landgate prior to 1st January 1998
• The lots meet the current R-Codes
• Both owners agree to the conversion process
The advantage of converting from strata to survey-strata is that the building components are ignored and the land component then takes precedent.
Total Project Consultants has recently completed and/or is currently completing:
• survey-strata and green-title subdivisions;
• strata to survey-strata plan conversions;
